Cannabutter
Cannabutter
Time: 3.5 hours
If you’ve never made anything with cannabis before, this is where you’ll want to start. Cannabutter is versatile in both sweet and savory dishes, plus it stores for months if kept in the refrigerator or freezer.
Cannabis butter is the most popular infusion. First, because it’s simple, and second because fat and cannabinoids go together like peanut butter and jelly. Fats help your body absorb THC and CBD, so many weed edibles start with an infusion like Cannabutter to improve the cannabinoid availability.
As a cannabis-loving chef, you’ll always want to have some cannabutter on hand should some potent inspiration strike. Next time you make a batch, consider making it double. Trust us; you’ll thank us next time you reach into the fridge.
