Cannabis Cheesecake
Time: 1 hour + 5 hours cooling
A cannabis cheesecake is a great way to mark any special occasion, whether its a birthday, holiday, or a gathering of friends. This New York-style cheesecake contains just enough THC to get the whole party buzzing, but not enough for anyone to hit the floor. Serve with fresh fruit or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
Ingredients
- 5 Graham crackers, crushed
- 2 tbsp Cannabutter, melted
- 8 oz Cream cheese, room temperature
- 5 cups White sugar
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
Equipment
- 9” Springform Pan
- Parchment paper
- Handheld mixer or stand mixer
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a springform pan with butter and line with parchment paper, cut to fit the bottom.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and Cannabutter in a medium mixing bowl.
- Firmly press graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the prepared springform pan.
- Using a handheld mixer (or stand mixer), cream together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add in milk, eggs (one at a time), sour cream, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Slowly add in flour, mix until smooth.
- Pour mixture into prepared crust.
- Bake for 60 minutes.
- Turn the oven off, and do not remove cheesecake. Allow the cake to cool in the oven to prevent cracks. Cooling can take up to 5 hours.
- Refrigerate before serving.
