Couchlock, also known as “Couch Lock,” is an indica dominant hybrid strain (85% indica/15% sativa) created through crossing the classic Northern Lights #5 X Afghani strains. If you’re after a bud that’s effects really do fit its name, Couchlock is totally made for you. This bud has a soothing heavily physical high that will have you feeling kicked back and at ease for hours on end. The high starts with a subtle build of effects, beginning as a tingle in the back of your neck and head. This tingle will boost the spirits with a feeling of happiness while also helping to soothe the body with a pleasant physical buzz. You’ll feel fully relaxed and pretty aroused at times in this state before a heavy feeling of couchlock washes over you and locks you down. Thanks to these effects and its high 26-28% average THC level, Couchlock is often chosen to treat those suffering from conditions such as chronic pain, epilepsy, chronic stress or anxiety, cramps or muscle spasms, fibromyalgia and appetite loss or nausea. This bud has a sweet and fruity sugary berry flavor with hints of fresh honey and earthy diesel. The aroma is very similar, with an earthy diesel overtone accented by sugary blueberries and touch of sweet bananas. Couchlock buds have fat tapered spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with dark purple undertones, thick amber hairs and a coating of frosty purple-tinted white crystal trichomes.
