THC-Infused Reeses Pieces
Time: 45 minutes
One of the most popular chocolate treats has just gotten a cannabis-infused makeover. It’s a creamy peanut butter cup with a bit of a kick. Keep a big batch of these sweet-desserts in the back of your refrigerator for an unexpected after-dinner treat. These Reeses Pieces deliver a potent high and peanut-butter vibes all at the same time.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Graham crackers, crushed
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 6 tbsp Cannabutter
- 9 oz Peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 4 tbsp Cannabutter, divided
- 14 oz Milk chocolate chips
Equipment
- Paper Muffin Liners
- Muffin tin
- 2 Microwave-safe bowls
- Medium mixing bowl
- Microwave
Directions
- Whisk together crushed graham crackers and powdered sugar in a medium bowl.
- In the microwave, melt 6 tbsp cannabutter and peanut butter together in 15-second increments. Use a microwave-safe bowl.
- Combine graham cracker mixture and peanut butter mixture. Mix well until well incorporated. Set aside.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, add 2 tbsp of cannabutter and half of the chocolate chips. In 15-second increments, melt in the microwave.
- Place a paper muffin liner into the bottom of each space in a muffin tin.
- Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into the bottom of each paper muffin liner. Using a spoon or a brush, push some of the first layer of chocolate partway up the paper liners' sides. This will form an outside shell for the peanut butter mixture.
- Place the muffin tray in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Once hardened, spoon roughly 1 tbsp of peanut butter mixture into each paper liner. Use your fingers or a spoon to shape it into a flat disc if needed.
- Make the next batch of chocolate. In the same microwave-safe bowl, add in remaining chocolate and cannabutter. In 15-second increments, melt in a microwave.
- Pour chocolate over the peanut butter to cover. Spread chocolate evenly between all peanut butter cups.
- Place in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes to harden.
- Store for up to a week in the refrigerator.
