Infused Chicken Wings
Infused Chicken Wings
Time: 1.5 hours
Make that next Superbowl party or sunny barbeque a wee bit more exciting with a big batch of Infused Chicken Wings. These wings, inspired by classic Buffalo Style, are intended to share, as there is a little dose of weed per wing. Customize the finger-licking experience, have one for a low dose or a handful to up-the-ante.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot
- 1/4 cup Cannabutter (melted)
- 1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/8 tsp chipotle powder (or 2 dashes of chipotle hot sauce)
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1 lb chicken wings
- Salt to season
Equipment
- Baking sheet
- Large mixing bowl
- Whisk
Directions
- Generously season chicken wings with salt.
- Place chicken wings on a baking sheet, and set it in the refrigerator for at least one hour. This will improve the seasoning, and let the chicken wings dry out.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Bake chicken wings for 45 minutes, until cooked through. Use a thermometer if unsure.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the sauce.
- Whisk together hot sauce, Cannabutter, and spices until smooth and fully combined with no lumps.
- When wings are completely cooked through, remove from the oven.
- Put the wings into a large mixing bowl and cover with the Buffalo-style sauce.
- Toss wings several times to completely coat.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dip.
